Re: 406 HDI (90) not starting ... not turning over at all!
its also not uncommon for the starter live cable (the thick red one) to snap as on some 406's they were made slightly too short,

Re: Cruise control d9 1999 hdi110 **pls help!!!**
none of that is needed on a HDi mjb, the cruise is entireley controlled by the engine ecu, as theres no throttle to hold open, the ecu looks at the road speed you set it to and compares it with rpm Vs. load, and then maintains the same rail pressure and injection duration and angle, with only slight...

Re: re- abs
you may find the ABS could act strangely as the ring on that wheel will be fractionally larger and the ABS module will think (when that wheel locks) that its slowing down slightly faster than it is and will relieve pressure a bit too much, i did the same thing on my old HDi, and whenever the n/s/f w...

Re: Cruise control d9 1999 hdi110 **pls help!!!**
they may have written it out of the software for that BSi, as alot of people with 307's first discoverd this, cruise control was a £170 option when new, but could be retrofitted for £70, but it wasnt an approved retro-fit for safety reasons, so peugeot clocked onto what was happening removed the opt...

Re: RFN Engine & Leather Seat
rfr is a straight swap for the rfn, just make sure whichever engine you get comes from a pug that had L4, either engines can be found in the 206 and 307

Re: 1.9 td 1996 no power
the 406 is much heavier than the 405, and also has slightly less power, due a load of emissions bolloxs, the most common thing that can cause a major power loss is either a throttle linkage problem or the rubber pipe on the boost compensator on the fuel pump pops off the intercooler hose

how does it run with the maf unplugged and what faults does it log, im not sure entirely but the turbo pressure control valve, maf, map are all fed by the same circuit
and the reason your voltage is going up is because there is no load on the circuit

Re: 406 110 hdi - limp mode - can't clear codes - Please help
sounds more like a throttle potentiometer fault, clear the codes, then with the ignition off unplug the maf, start the car and see how it drives then check the faults
