406 Exec Turbo - ticking from engine?!?
Hi, I have a unabused 2.0 Turbo (Petrol), and have just recently noticed a ticking sound coming from the engine, and also a sound that i can describe as going 'whup, whup, whup etc..' not massivley noisy, but you can hear them over the engine when idling. I am hoping to sell on and worried that pote...

Damn Boot wont lock !!!!
Hi,
I have a P reg 406 2.0 Turbo (does that really matter? not sure!!) , now the key fob locks all doors great......but not the boot..oh nooooo!! I have tried the 'quarter turn' on the boot lock as instructed by the 406 manual..but no joy!! any ideas people???

Yes top hose getting hot, rad hot top and bottom, heaters are blowing hot, thermostat tested opening ok!! No sludge in the oil and no smoke out of exhaust.
Only does this after a good drive round ?? Didnt get above 90 degress on gauge.

I am pretty damn sure it is the overflow (its about 10mm) , and there are no airlocks, if the bottom hose had gone would it not be leaking water from there??
**spoken to a friend and he says that the tube is the overflow, bubbling, hot water p***ing out, that dont sound to good does it???

Thanks again all ! I do love my 2.0 Turbo exec, so much f***in fun to drive....and i only paid £370.00 for mine, then again is that a good or bad thing??
