Thanks for the input.
Looks like i will have to get the meter out and start looking for a properly switched supply line, had not thought to check if a voltage was feeding back from the stereo, will check that too.

Re: Radio Dimmer Wire
Hi.
Tagging wire to ashtray lamp does work and dims radio, but has the side effect of causing the dashboard and dial display to illuminate when key inserted and turned to position one.Any ideas, have disconnected wire and all is fine again.

Re: Radio Dimmer Wire
Have already checked for any voltage changes when the lights switched on from the ISO and there is only the switched ignition. I will probably just tag the wire onto the ashtray lamp,i assume that will give me the 12v to the orange dimmer cable. If not i will just have to stick with the timed dimmer...

Re: Reversing Sensor
Hi. Got a set of silver sensors that match perfectly, just need to take the plunge and start drilling. I had a Mitsubishi GTO that was wide as hell and very long and could park that with ease, but i just can not seem to find the back of the 406,though i drive a panel van with no problem parking.Just n...

Re: Reversing Sensor
Thanks for all the input.
If it stops raining long enough this week i will have a go at fitting the sensors.
I came from a BMW E30 325 to the 406 and i just can not get my head round the reversing, yet i have had bigger and longer cars with no problem.
cheers for the input

Reversing Sensor
Hello
Has anybody fitted a 4 sensor reversing kit to a 406 v Plate Saloon,I was wondering where the best installation position is and whether there are any no go areas as in wiring, brackets etc
If you have do you have any pictures.
Thanks

Re: Stalk Adaptors...
Hi
Did you get the adapter to work ?
I have just installed a JVC KD AVX2 and the adapter i fitted does not seem to work.I have read that you need to let them be found by the head unit but i am unsure whether this is true or not.Any feedback appreciated.
