just to say a big thankyou for all the help ive recieved from this site with the tech problems ive had with my 2 cars.
ive now given up with my short peugeot affair and gone back to jap.

the experience with peugeot has been bad but the club has been great!

i bet its the thrust bearing, i now have to drop the clutch at 4000 rpm to avoid the noise.

i did think of the thrust bearing, thatll be a pain to change! i hope it the mount though.

thanks chaps, there is a bit of an oil leak so thats worth concidering. as soon as i get my jack back of loan ill crawl underneath and check the torque mount.

coming off the clutch, if you give it lots of revs its ok.

my hdi 90 engine shudders when moving from stationary, or even if i let the clutch out slightly (biting point)
its gets worse every day, but once its going along its fine. could this be a worn torque mount?

because the fuel system is much more advanced. runs at much higher (silly high) pressure, electric control injectors with very fine spray pattern... I think they will run on it, put i don't think the high pressure pump will last that long because of the extra strain of the thicker liquid. is there ...

I've probably got about 10 mates who use veggie in their 4X4s, and AFAIK only 2 of them pay any duty at all on it, and no-one's ever mentioned having any problems with the authorities. thats honest of them, i wouldnt tell the government thieving parasites anything, in fact im not going to! why cant...

when i turn the key without cranking the engine i get a squeeling noise for a few seconds. what is this? is it the fuel pump getting up to pressure?
