Re: GEAR BOX QUERY-HOW MUCH?WHERE?WORTH IT?

Re: 2003 406 hdi(110) estate flat battery everyday help nee
Simplest way to find out if it's the battery is to take the terminal off when you park it up, then re connect it in the morning. If it starts battery OK ,If not battery faulty. If the battery is OK the next suspect is an alternator fault. Try the same technique for that i.e disconect the alternator ...

Just had a thought. what if I swap head unit from my other identical car to see if the noise goes with it? Any probs with code issues?

Changed the ABS pump yesterday
After suffering a string of ABS problems, including split rotors & a broken sensor wire & the pump motor still running with the key removed, & as I was still getting fault messages, I decided to bite the bullet and change the pump unit . I was dreading it as I have no experience with ABS systems & h...

I only use 64bit OSs on machines I actually need to address >3GB in a single process (database servers or heavy data crunching). Having to have two sets of most libraries to...

Re: D9 Window Problem--HELP
If you think it's a BSI fault do a BSI reset, search on here, follow the instructions EXACTLY. Obviosly you'll need to get the drivers window out of the way first.

I've replaced those too, the shoulders of the original tyres were like telly savalas and when I jacked the car up you could literally shake the wheel around [/quote] Yes and it will...
