15" Steel wheels + tyres and trim for sale
Gauging interest in my old steel wheels, as I have just sourced and renovated a set of Alloys to replace them. Standard Pug 15" steel wheels with 4 x ~10,000 mile old Uniroyal tyres (good tread all 'round). Also have all 4 wheeltrims - back ones in good condition, the fronts are a bit tired (but sti...

Re: D9 CD player into D8 - Possible?
A changer was something else I looked at, as it's far more common, but I'd prfer to be able to change CDs from the front individually rather than having to load a multichanger.

Re: D9 CD player into D8 - Possible?
OK - thanks for confirming that for me - I think I'l leave working Peugeot wiring alone - sleeping dogs and all that.
I really would prefer to keep the stock look rather than go after market, but if I can't find a D8 with one within the next few months I'll have to bite the bullet.

D9 CD player into D8 - Possible?
As per the title really. I use my D8 for commuting and prefer to listen to CDs rather than the radio. I know the D8 had a CD player as an optional extra, but I cannot find one anywhere. The other option I was looing at was to install a CD-Radio froma D9, but I know it needs the LCD display further u...

Re: Poor Britney Spears
You know, I almost feel sorry for the poor girl, like Michael Jackson she's been pushed by her parents from an early age and not had any childhood as such and is now paying for it. However, I did say almost: Hurry up and commit suicide you useless tart, I'm sick of the sight of you. Let's have some...

Re: Veggy Oil in Diesel
SO How the hell am i gunna refine veggie oil done t the same viscocity as diesel. £1.11 takes the piss!! You need a twin-tank setup similar to the LPG setup found on Petrol cars. You start and finish driving on Diesel and then switch to SVO while driving. http://www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk/forum/i...

Re: Veggy Oil in Diesel
Do all d8 1.9TD's have a bosch pump? :?: According to everything I have read (Pug manuals included) yes. http://www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk/forum/viewthread.php?tid=3775#pid28229 shows a picture of a Bosch Pump. There is a difference in the fuel line connections between bosch and Lucas pumps, but ...

Re: HDi Poor MPG (33 - 35mpg)
If its running ok and pulling as normal, first thing i would do is check trye pressure and then check the brakes are sticking on a bit. After that your looking at checking fault codes etc I'd definitely check your brakes as Pugs are known for being bad for binding. It's something that shoudl be che...

If it has a standard Pug Radio/CD player (with code) then I'd be interested.

Not yet, and everytime I hear his overly chirpy, loveable Irish chuckling voice on the radio I have to restrain myself from head-butting the steering wheel.steve_earwig wrote:Isn't he dead yet?
He's a bit too sugary for me thanks!

Re: Now I've got water sloshing in the sills can't remember fix
All sills have drain holes somewhere along their length. These can become gunked up quite easily. If you get a torch and look along the length of the sill you will see the hole. Poke through the crap blocking it with a wire and presto!

Re: Veggy Oil in Diesel
because the fuel system is much more advanced. runs at much higher (silly high) pressure, electric control injectors with very fine spray pattern... I think they will run on it, put i don't think the high pressure pump will last that long because of the extra strain of the thicker liquid. is there ...

Re: Veggy Oil in Diesel
After further reading i'll be trying this once the current tank has been depleted a bit. 1.9 406 TDs seem to be quite happy on a blend of veg/dino, plus I believe the fuel filter is water heated too, which makes it far simpler.

Re: No Rear Foglight... Help needed!
Just try to be methodical, test it where you can and zero in on the problem. You'll at least need a test lamp but a multimeter is much better. It's probably something to do with what you've been doing but there's always a chance it's not. Yes it was!! When I was installing the new panel that holds ...
