Well she is still here and now listed at £150 for car (scrap value), and just cant believe it. If she dont go today then scrap yard it is. Iv noticed 406 prices are really rock bottom, i really dont understand why. At this rate il be paying to get rid of her :lol:

Hmmmmm Bin busy with a new job etc, thing is cos have company van my 406 has bin parked up for 2 months, long story short went to get a new mot today, pulled car of drive and STOP. Welts what part of lincs, you was in my patch.

Im not posh enough for a trip computer so old fashoned way i get 45 - 47 mpg no matter how i drive it. Mind you iv never tried to keep under 2000rpm.

All very valid points, yeah iv gone of the idea of estate, thought of my lad in that space dont seem right. Ty Ty Ty Yeah bin looking around at all sorts, LWB Mitsubishi Pajero (Shogun) are good motor but from what iv heard costly to run. My local garage charged me 25 notes, only a small machine with no printer but it listed faults as a description as well as code, and then went on to seperate menus for each fault to show readings / cause etc. No idea about main dealers price but i wouldnt bother, doubt they would even know what code...

Depends on how you use a mobile, iv got Nokia N73, great battery (4 - 5 days normal use), 3.2mp auto focus camera, satnav with aditional gps reciever(29.99ish). As far as im aware your old MOT is valid upto the expiry date. I meant to do mine few weeks before but forgot, so had MOT and tax on same day. arrrrrrr
