Ahh cool i'll give it a shot when I can get a new pump sorted. All things automotive have pillaged my bank account this month :(

How much silver would I have to cross your palm with to aquire said pump *thrusts hips* from you?

any ideas on fitting it too? I'm lost with all this diesel malrky.

How difficult of a job is this on a d8? I'm not shy with the spanners, although I never can get motivated to work on the Peugeot for some reason :( Probably due to hours misspent tinkering with my old 106 rallye. Anyway, is it much of a faff on changing the pump? I assume that the timing belt will h...

He is a mate, but he runs his own garage, and he's normally ok with VERY reasonable rates. Never again though, i've had my fill.

Thanks for the advice. I've just been out to have a look at the seats, and I can see that it will be possible relatively easily, however.... I bought the car a couple of months ago, it worked for a a couple of days then the immobiliser developed a fault. Great, thought I, it's a diesel, quick change...

Sorry lads, I won them :) If it's means anything to you it required a fairly lengthy drive (Over the A66 in seriously thick fog, no less!)
