Re: Hdi Clattering sound
You could grab one from here which is a genuine one for 49.99 delivered instead of £143 from Peugeot, like dirtydirtydiesel says if you do grab one from GSF get the 'premium' one, the cheaper ones they sell generally fail inside 12 months.

Microsoft have stopped supporting and issuing security updates, you still need to go through activation though!

Re: Swapping computer hard drive advice
XP will use online activation but it shouldn't be a problem just swapping the hard drive as that won't be enough to trigger issues.
I can't remember if there is a service pack requirement for PP but it makes sense to put everything in and upto date anyway

Re: Guess what happened to me today...
Wow
Can't imagine what it's like to witness something like that, hope you and your colleague are ok.
We have front facing camera in every vehicle at work, luckily so far i've only had to deal with footage of stupid driving as i wouldn't like to have to watch anything like that.......

Re: Removing the BSI... Any specific procedure?
My normal process is bonnet up, drivers window down and then close all doors and wait 3 minutes for BSI to sleep, disconnect the battery and then remove the BSI.
Refitting is put the BSI back, reconnect the battery, reach through the open drivers window and turn on the sidelights to wake the BSI.

They probably wondered why they sold their first ones in 3 years!markw wrote:I quite like Mr.Auto's variable pricing Ian. ....remember the V6 timing belt kit I got for £98?
That soon changed to the proper price when someone realised their mistake. We'd already bought two by then!

Re: Timing belt / water pump kit
Can't get much better than Gates for timing belt gear IMHO.....don't know what make the pump is though. That's a decent price for the whole kit. The pump in the kit is a First Line one..... It's a shame the prices on Mister-Auto are so variable, at the end of January i got the SKF Timing Belt + Wat...
