Don't do bridging connectors on these cars as a rule of thumb. There are some circuits / BSI or ECU paths which cannot handle 12v. Me tend to think its specific towards diesel 406s where front suspension / coil is stiffer than rear. Rear must be same for diesel and petrol.

Mine looks lowered on the front than rear and a friend has a 405 and also a 406 diesel. Both looks extra elevated on the front than rear.
