Re: N75 valve on 2.2 DW12 2.2 HDi engine

What is the difference between 1628.LQ and 1628.HC valves and is it possible to use 1628.LQ in place of HC?

Blinker lamp replacement

I replaced my left blinker lamp and more than 1 year it stops working from time to time and need to touch/turn to holder to "fix" it for some days or weeks. The place is very narrow and I touch the holder with 1 or 2 fingers. Not sure is it necessary to click at the end and how hard to push.

Missing part

Original part with OEM code 0363.87 (Diaphragme) is no longer available. Unfortunately, I cannot find it on Autodoc as well. Is there another online shop where it can be found (alternative brand):

Re: Late turbo kick in

Unplugged the MAF - the car drives the same way like with connected MAF, i.e. no change. What does this mean? MAF is for replacement or normal?

Re: External air flap

Here is a photo of the flap. I can easily put folded wire or use insulating tape to stick the flap but if something drops down it can damage the fan which is below.

External air flap

The motor for opening and closing of external air flow does not work (as on many other 406). I plan to restore it and even have metal axis (hand made) to replace the plastic. But I wonder whether it is possible to make some support for the flap and keep it fully open. Now it hangs vertically and air...

Re: Late turbo kick in

The MAF is the one that ideally would be replaced, and definitely a genuine one if you can afford it. Is there chance that MAF seems OK (from diag values) but is not OK? I know when MAF is replaced the car goes very good but not sure whether to risk and buy new MAF if this is not necessary. The 3rd...

Re: Engine elastic bracket

I have replaced #32 and #12 with genuine parts but not sure whether orientation is correct. About #7 - I think there is visible tear.

Engine elastic bracket

I am planning to replace elastic mounting bracket #7 (on scheme). I can use the moment and replace also #21 - it was replaced 4 years (64000km) ago with alternative brand and I suspect it is not in good condition. The question is: Is there specific symptoms if #21 is for replacement? I have small vi...

Error codes list

Is there complete list of error codes with text descriptions?

I have P0180 and P0380 errors and two other starting with digits but without text info.

How many errors can be stored in log - I hope it is not limited to last 4.

Re: Turbo dismount

Yes, your 2.2 HDI has a variable geometry turbo. It uses vacuum to relieve boost. I.e., loss of vacuum can lead to overboost. Is it possible to switch/move geometry by hand? The conclusion after diagnostic at Peugeot dealer was that geometry does not move for some reason and causes overboost. I gue...

Re: Turbo dismount

See the link frog posted which clearly shows a similar diaphragm assembly on the turbo, used to regulate boost. Most common issue is vacuum loss elsewhere preventing the turbo actuator working as intended resulting in too much boost. In other words - there is variable geometry? I guess one of the 3...

Re: Turbo dismount

Not sure what is variable nozzle. There is some bypass (switch air flow here and there) controlled by diaphragme (#12) from scheme below. The explanation was that it works like simple variable geometry:

Re: Turbo dismount

New question about turbo - is there variable geometry on HDI 2.2 or not? Technician at local service assures that there is no variable geometry on this engine.
