Also car doesn't smoke at all (unless your dopy like me and try to start it without deactivating the immobiliser! In which case when you realise your mistake and try to start it the second time, you get a bit of white smoke from the extra fuel pumped in!) The car also has a towbay with a single elec...

Sometimes my car does this too but normally only when warm. First start of the day is straight away and if I drive abit stop for 10 mins and then start again, intermittantly it takes aout 5 turns to start as opposed to the normal two. I have new plugs ect but I reckon mine is fuel related as I get a...

2/3 sensors? I thought it only got temp from the brown sensor on top of the thermostat housing? I know that this is the only temp sensor wired into the bitron control unit on the 1.9td as I examined teh wiring thoroughly before. Heres a link for the wiring diagrams.... http://www.peugeotlogic.com/wo...

The Fans both run at half speed or both run at full speed and should never run on their own. The slow speed happens at 97C or when air con is on. The fast speed should happen at 107C, When the temp (bitron) sensor is unplugged/faulty or the air con pressure becomes too high. If your only one fan is ...

It's all to do with momentum. Even if a car with a snorkel gets stuck submerged, it will normally be a bad thing. The idea is that you keep moving through the water which creates a bow wave meaning that the water level inside the engine bay is lower than the water level outside the car. If you stop ...

Rob 480 rear discs an be a right bugger to change though as the calipers are always bloody seized  drums are pretty simple, two words of advice, use the haynes manual and take both drums off, but dismantle one side at a time s...

Oil and water seem fine. 90 Is what my car now seems to stay on most of the time for water and 110C for oil is a little hotter than my old petrol volvo used to get in normal use but that would reach 115C if I was gunning it so that sounds fine too.
