Re: Project shed

Great work in just a week! What's the issue with the remap? And did emptying the cat have any noticeable difference? Hi there, to be fair i've only just sorted out the relevant TAX (V5 finally arrived and i realized it was on DISABLED TAX - would have been nice for the previous owner to tell me) so...

Re: Project shed

Day 8: - ok seems like i've about finished the goals that i set out, not really sure if there will be much more work being done, might still play around with the re-map not really happy with that. Little bit sad to think it's all done, ive quite enjoyed this project - so what did i do today, not muc...

Day 7: - ok ive been putting it off for too long, finally decided to get that cat hollowed out, overall it was not as bad as i expected, however i really hate going under cars at all! even on ramps, with the hand brake on, while in gear, with bricks behind the wheels! just feels wrong! Anyway,...

Re: Project shed

Day 6; - started by removing the seat, (perfectionist - i told you :( the seat thing was playing on my mind, annoying me, not being able to go lower) it was still quite wet from being washed and the interior smelled a bit funny, dont want to let anything get moldy so i put it on the lawn (was quite ...

Re: Project shed

Good result... I admire the use of tie down for the battery... 8) I don't really use my arm rest, unless I'm on a long journey, and it means I can't put a can of coke in the cup holder.... Keep your eye on the airbag connectors under the seat, but to be honest it's normally the passenger side that ...

Re: Project shed

Day 5: - got around to installing the seat today, gave it a really good clean first. it's one of those things, at a glance it looked ok, but i guess sitting in a junk yard for x number of years with the window open didn't help it and it was pretty well dirty. scrubbed it and then got the hose on it ...

Re: Project shed

Excellent progress made so far! I've done almost every mod in the book to my 110 so if you get stuck shoot me a PM! You can easily extract 145hp/330nm from these with a standard stage 1 map, without changing anything mechanically - my map was done by Steve @ HDi tuning in Bristol, he's very knowled...

Good work, its coming along nicely :cheesy: When I did my EGR removal, I just left the pipework in place, keeps the MOT man happy.
