Re: v6 not running right

D8 V6's use a single coil pack on the front bank, the rear bank is tee'd off of the front bank with HT leads, I;d go with the plugs first and rear HT lead set as it saves removing the inlet again, the Front coil pack is dead simple to change and if you need one I have one off my old one which is or ...

Re: 406 HDI vacuum issue?

Start with the pump as they should provide a fair bit more than that, Sounds like similar issues to me as the pump had been changed by the previous owner, Just do one thing at a time, I'm getting there slowly, bloody things

Re: Good old EML's

Having just seen the new price of a servo it's silly to buy a used one

Re: Good old EML's

The servo at a guess as the valve works as it should and the seal is good too, As it's intermittent I would say the seal where the rod from the pedal/cross bar operates the servo is on it's way out.
I'll have to find a S/H servo or if they are cheap enough a new one and go from there

Good old EML's

Chasing around loads since getting this 2.2 HDI ******, sorted the Diaphragm which was leaking and the end was broken off, then that seemed to work for a few miles then the EML again with the DPF blockage so cleaned that out until it get's remapped as it will be removed, Again fine for a while until...

Re: Clutch spline count

I'd only use Valeo ones and from a motor factor, if you have any issues it's easy to sort, Ebay is a nightmare for things like this as allot of sellers don;t know what they are selling

Re: Back in a 406 after a few years,

Cheers all, getting there as the end of the IRIS valve had broken off and hardly moves when the engine is rev'd with a fair amount of hissing but if that's normal or not I don;t know, good thing is with the butterfly valve moved (Manually) the other way all is good so far, EML has gone out and power...

Back in a 406 after a few years,

Got a 2.2 HDi this time around, never had much do to with HDI's before (Coming from 205's, 306 GTi's & V6 406's) so I'll need to stick my thinking cap on as the old Emission system fault light is on which hopefully will be the Swirl valve as sometime it goes well and others not at all, Bloody cars
