Re: 406AC suddenly stop working
That suggests that the sensor is not connected properly (e.g. sensor faulty, wiring faulty, connector faulty, or - less likely - BSI faulty) PP2000 might throw an error to let you know what's going on, and if you measure the sensor you'll have an idea if it's an open circuit. There's a slight chanc...

Ah, now that I have no idea about (anyone?), I'd just test it anyway, hoping for something meaningful. Is it always zero? Never below? sory it was not 00 its only -- . no any numbers http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/images/g/ZPsAAOxyVaBS4W9C/s-l225.jpg (this photo is not mine .but my MFD show tempratur...

Re: 406AC suddenly stop working
Update
found that the MFD it show up -- at the temperature display position all the time . i guess out side temperature is about 25c .
can this be a cause to compressor not to engage?
i remember it was worked fine before this AC problem occurs .

Re: 406AC suddenly stop working
The RPO is 08829 (the 89 means it was built at Sochaux, like the majority of 406s), Thu 11 Jan 2001 so definitely a semi-mux. I forgot there are 4 1.8 engines but the diagrams all appear to be the same. I'll add the descriptions in a minute... Thanks very much for the detailed info Steve. ill check...

Re: 406AC suddenly stop working
How does it regulate low speed? Is there some kind of series resistor that might be broken? On the twin-fan models the two fans are used in series for low speed. there is a resister on the cover of the fan . its fine i already checked . wire number 1592 is the problem its comes from ecu and no powe...

Re: 406AC suddenly stop working
[quote="8Jb9"]I think PP2000 is quite important in your case, because you have two possible causes: fan-fault causing the BSI to not engage the AC, or alternatively the relay. The fan problem is typical, and I currently suffer from the same. As you say, one of the fans go on on high for a few second...

Re: 406AC suddenly stop working
fan low speed is not working . i think normally it would start in low speed when switching on the ac.lozz wrote:Have you checked the relays for the fans.
iirc..there's two or three behind the grille.
I might be wrong tho.
i checked the relays all are good ..
