Re: Outside temperature sensor.
Thanks batrst. I bought the 6445F9. Pug says my car has the 6445Y8. They seems to be identical and 6445F9 being cheapest so that's what I got. Didn't replace it since the faulty temperature readout was caused by wiring loom under the dashboard.

Re: Peugeot 406 judder at around 1400-1600 RPM
The Pressure Control Valve (PCV) has been replaced and it didn't help. The judder is still present at 1500 RPM. And now, after replacing the PCV it has started happening at 1800 RPM as well. So it has become worse. It feels like it is all over the place. Particularly when the engine load is light, f...

Peugeot 406 saloon rubber seal leaking.
The floor mat felt damp and I suspect the car is leaking somewhere but not sure where. I have also noticed an increase in wind noise. What would be the most sensible parts to replace of rubber seals on my Peugeot 406 saloon? Surely I don't need to replace then all, or do I? Thanks for any help and s...

Thank you steve_earwig, great post.
So if I understand this correctly - there is no extra cable to the brake pedal. Just the one.

Re: Retrofitting cruise control 2003 Peugeot 406
New Information; my car has what is called COM 2000 and that means all the necessary wiring is already in place and since I have mounted the stalk, all I need to do is activate it in PP2K to make it present for the system.
I'm sure someone on this forum can explained what COM 2000 is.

Re: Retrofitting cruise control 2003 Peugeot 406
I ordered OBDLink SX from Gendan (gendan.co.uk - Product Code: OBDLINKSX) so I can connect and poke around in PP2K for myself and se if there is a menu present for the cruise control. Looking at ruwds pictures there definitely is a menu for it. So kudos to ruwds for posting them. I am not trusting w...

Re: Peugeot 406 judder at around 1400-1600 RPM
I ordered a Pressure Control Valve (PCV) today from Merlin Diesel and it is a genuine VDO part Made in Germany. So it should be of good quality. Part number A2C59506225.
When I have replaced it I will post the result. Fingers crossed.

Re: Retrofitting cruise control 2003 Peugeot 406
Thanks ruwds - much appreciated. Mine is also SID 801A. Looking at the pictures there seems to be a difference between the brake pedal bracket between our cars. It looks like mine is missing some metal or extra bracket. I have yet to find any wiring, not that I made a good job looking for it. I'll d...
