Re: Help we buy any key ring dot com or scrap shocker

This actually looks like an exquisite item. I was thinking of buying something similar from the local market to impress friends (and help me remember which key starts the car). Is it actually for sale?

Hillclimbs

Hi everyone, I hope no-one minds this post. I don't know if any of you are into motorsport, but if anyone is, I wanted to recommend hillclimbs. When I got into marshalling I'd never really heard of them, but a mate persuaded me to go along with him and marshal one and I loved it. For anyone who does...

Service indicator

Hi folks, So I'm hoping to give the car a thorough service when I get paid. I guess I'll want to reset the service indicator. I've been looking at those OBD2 diagnostic gizmos on eBay but it doesn't look like they'll do the trick? Do I need something else? If it's expensive might have to give it som...

Re: hello to all

Hiya welcome. I've only been here a little short while myself. Only the other day I was talking to a colleague (a doorman who used to have a Snap On franchise) about the brilliant advice I've had here. He couldn't believe that a problem that had had my Dad resigned to a non-fix for a number of years...

Re: 406oc.co.uk Club Stickers

Hiya Dai, Got the stickers, thanks a lot mate. Will apply them tomorrow if I wake up during the light (I work nights) (and girlfriend is happy to let me work on car). Very impressive, professional looking envelope. Dai I am a barman in a venue in Cardiff you may have heard of. Do come in and identif...

Remote central locking

Hi everyone, So I replaced the battery in the remote key (99p - thanks eBay!). The light came on constantly for about five minutes then went off. The big button doesn't do anything. The little one's rubber has partly disappeared into the housing. I tried reversing the polarity just in case. I took t...

Re: Mats

Some people just aren't car people I guess. Having said that, I used to throughly valet my stepmother's car every weekend at one time. She noticed the wax repelling the rain and was pleased. She also said that friends got in the car and said "my goodness, this is clean!" Which was nice. Personally I...

Re: Mats

I love cleaning cars. I spent the best part of a week doing my stepmother's and sister's a few years ago. Then they went straight back to never hoovering them and putting dogs in the back with no blanket / not using mats. Thought that counts I guess.
