It's been replaced by a 9-5 Aero, which is a bit different, certainly doesn't handle like the 406 did

It's gone now, sold it to a specialist my dads used for years for his French cars so at least it's gone to a good home.

No one? Please someone save it seems so sad for such a rare car to be scrapped, did 170 miles over weekend and averaged 30.8 mpg, I really don't want to see it scrapped but it's stay of execution is nearly over!

It's getting traded in this week and they are going to scrap it

The 406 is here to stay, I've grown attached to it and I want to make it better, which may be foolish but I don't care :lol: So the previous owner treated it to all sorts of dents, there is a dent to the osr on the rear quarter and the mar door the same dent and scrape through the paint to the prime...

I pulled the sensor back out and no fluid came out again, i flushed the system and put new antifreeze and water in and everything is now fine, there seemed to be an air leak or blockage in the thermostat housing area for some reason.
