Re: FS 2000 ‘W’ Peugeot 406 V6 Automatic Coupe
How much is 12 months tax on this model as mine is a 2001 and on a Y plate and is fairly cheap at £180 per year?

Re: 2001 China blue HDi for sale
Thanks for that, I really don't like social network sites so Scumtree may well be the way forward. I only want what I paid for the car plus the parts alone that I have spent on it. Maybe I should have done nothing to the car and I'm sure I would be selling it no problem for a cheaper price but I int...

Re: 2001 China blue HDi for sale
Sorry it's a saloon and I'm in Wales.
It used to belong to a Peugeot parts manager so as you can imagine has had everything done to it as required.
I bought the car as a stop gap car but liked it so much spent a small fortune on tyres, belts, pulley etc etc
Oh and it's a 90 bhp model.

Re: New crankshaft pulley.
Great stuff I hope so.
Just need to get a bit more power out of it then, maybe a doser valve clean will be in order and then possibly a remap
.
Only had the car a couple of months and already spent over £400 on it on parts alone, but it should be worth it in the end.

New crankshaft pulley.
Just bought a new pulley for my 90hp rapier and wondered if anyone had any comments on the quality of it? I bought it from GSF not knowing what I was getting as they don't show the make, but went for the premium option. Anyway the pulley is made by Corteco and cost me £82. Well impressed with delive...

Electro valves buzzing after switch off
Have a bank of 3 EVs on my 2001 90bhp Hdi. They all seem to be buzzing once the car is shut down as if the pressure is reducing slowly. This lasts for about a minute before they shut up. Could this be a leaking diaphragm inside one of them or is this normal? Car could do with a bit more power actual...

I had pretty much the same symptoms and have done all the usual easy ways to sort out as you have.
I ended up taking all my injectors out and having them tested, 1 turned out to be clogged.
Ultrasonic cleaned and re tested, car now purrs again
