Re: Central Locking - not locking !!!

Just thought I'd update you all, if you wanted to know !! Sprayed some WD40 in the lock , slammed all the doors shut and its now working again. Not sure if its the long term solution but it'll do for now. Its 7 years old with 165000 on the clock so I'm not going to buy new locks for it anyway. Thank...

Re: Central Locking - not locking !!!

Thanks for that but today the car wont even lock with the key, seems like its jammed but after a bit of a wiggle with the key I can make the key turn a full 360 degrees. Still not locking just turns and turns. Must be something snapped, any ideas appreciated, cheers

Central Locking - not locking !!!

Hi

Problem with the central locking. Press the fob and the doors lock then unlcock. Sounds like a barrel turning the unturning from the drivers door. I've changed the battery in the fob and it still works fine with the key.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks James

Do you think my local garage will be able to sort this out or would I need to take it to a tuning specialist ?

Any idea how much it'll cost me ?

Thanks

Thanks so far guys. I forgot to say earlier that I've recently had a new crankshaft sensor fitted. Could this be connected to the problem somehow ????

Cheers

Boost Pressure Too Low - Any Advice Appreciated

If I go over about 75 MPH in my HDI 110 est the engine management light comes on. Its been on a computer at the local garage and it comes up as ECU fault P0246 Boost Pressure Too Low. The car then wont go over 3000 revs when this happens. Once its reset its fine until I go over this speed again !! T...
