Cruise is awesome, just the other day I drove from the Severn Bridge junction of the M49 all the way to J25 of the M5 without touching a pedal. It's soooo much more relaxing. The biggest benefit I find is that it takes away the need to keep one eye on the speedo, you can concentrate on what's going ...

Does your area have one of these mobile businesses that seem to be sprouting up in recent years, there's a couple around here. Basically they specialise in minor damage of this nature. I'm told that if the paint's OK they can usually pull a small dent out, without causing any further damage, for abo...

Nice Main Dealer in Ireland!

Hello folks, As some of you know, we just had the BSI unit replaced on SWMBO's 206. This is the first bit of work the car has needed, therefore the first time the battery has been disconnected. Problem was I didn't have the code for the radio, and when I went to pick the car up from my local main st...

....and it's back, £375.

They changed the BSI as predicted above (well done James 8) )

Tell you what though, I hate these electrical faults on modern cars! You get charged but you don't know what you've spent your money on. :frown:

UPDATE: It's been misbehaving on and off yesterday but was fine this morning, so I took it to see Neil. Neil's diagnostic didn't find any fault codes, then after I got it home it died again and nothing we could do would make it work again, so out came mr RAC man. He diagnosed a suspect "body control...

Don't know why they'd want a P though :?
They need the "P" because they can't find a "d", no hang on, they'd have to have a brain to work that out! :frown:

I've got a handy cleaning tip. Take your car 'round to Neil Davies' house then stand by it talking bolox for an hour. Neil can't stand to see wax residue on your faded black trim, and after a little while he can no longer resist the temptation to reach for his auto glym products. The wife's car may ...

Well it behaved itself all day today, including an hour at the test station, so we're now in posession of a shiny new ticket.

Perhaps the gremlins are malicious wee buggers who just like to see car owners fret. Time will tell eh?

Right here's a strange one for you. Driving the wifey's 206 last night along a duel carriageway, indicated - no indicators. Quick button jabbing and lever poking session confirmed that there were no indicators (or hazards), or wipers. Figured it must be a fuse so pulled off the road and straight int...

Hmmm interesting... but I can't find toyo proxes t1-r or t1-s in my size (standard 195/65/R15 91H), as welts said looks like they only do "sporty" sizes. What about proxes CF 1? I like the look of them, they're really cheap!! :cheesy:

Any other recommendations?
