No idea myself, but the reviews seem favourable as they're in the top half of the tests I found. Were they, ahem, affordable? Letusno what you reckon.

Anyway, you're meant to ask before you buy, it's a bit late now if someone tells you they're crap :|

EU tyre label is C (efficiency), B (wet), 68.
C is a bit low. 68 is excellent.
So I'd expect those to feel nice.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

I got sick of searching through the interweb for reviews and prices. I did not fancy buying winter tyres and having to change them after the winter was over so for the first time I have gone for all season tyres on the front, it has good goodyear performance tyres on the rear ( I carry my tools etc in the boot to hold the rear down)
paid about £62 apiece fitted so lets hope they are worth it ? :?

I have generally found the EU tyre labels to be a good guide.

That's a bargain for new premium tyres.
Bloody double that for the 215/55/17 XL on the 407.

Update :
we have not had any real bad weather to test them properly this last winter , they grip well, but feel quite soft /squidgy/soggy :frown:
wish I had bought some P1 instead

I always do some research before I buy new tyres. My requirements are the quietest and best riding tyres, I don't drive fast enough to want tyres with super grip. There are several tyre comparison sites on the net, they even give the noise db rating but they give all aspects of tyre performance so worth a look.

I've had several tyre disappointments in my car 'career' it is a mine field out there.

One thing I did learn was to buy decent brands, I run a Volvo now which could qualify as 'sporty' enough to want high-performance tyres and I've found it's happiest on Michelin Pilot's and Pirelli P7 Cinturato's.

Something else often over-looked is that the premium brands very often last longer so work out cheaper in the end and offer better all-round performance.

I don't hoon my car around corners at all (think I'd throw up these days) but I do appreciate low noise and straight line stability. I always have a squint at the wet braking stats as that's obviously important.

I seem to remember my 406 being quite happy on Goodyear Eagle NCT 5's
Cars in my care:

2005 Volvo S40 T5 German Diesel botherer with new tyre grippage
2010 Citroen C4 1.6 HDi turbo de' explosions, bizarre gearbox model
2010 Renner Twingo refreshingly simple

Yep, cheers guys we live and learn or maybe not :frown:
I'am at the stage with the 406 after 10yrs, ( been running a 406 now for 16yrs ) thinking I need to upgrade, its running well but when do you stop spending money on it !
Or get something else which is more expensive to repair with multiple sensors everywhere !! cars have gone far to complicated !!!
