Re: Pugfest 2015
4 new tyres, TPMS sensors removed after breaking them trying to replace the stems, impulse purchase of brake fluid change (I'd been thinking about it for a while), washed, windscreen shaved, tyres dressed, burnt out compressor trying to inflate tyres (why do they always put so little air in?), bathroom cleaned, burgers procured.

Re: Pugfest 2015
A slight change to my plans, mostly in order to try and get the Coupe into the paddock area, since last year it wasn't nearly big enough, and I turned up too late!
So I'm going to meet the Coupe lot at Morrisons at 8-8.30 in Tewkesbury and head to Pugfest from there, so I'll see you all there
I have Eric's number but I suspect we'll find each other...

Uhm... I just washed mine. On the outside only. Lots of stone chips on paintwork... Oh and two tyres, which are vibrating. Yay!rwb wrote:4 new tyres, TPMS sensors removed after breaking them trying to replace the stems, impulse purchase of brake fluid change (I'd been thinking about it for a while), washed, windscreen shaved, tyres dressed, burnt out compressor trying to inflate tyres (why do they always put so little air in?), bathroom cleaned, burgers procured.

Someone drove all the way to Merthyr Tydfil without the tickets.
Well be there about 11. Hopefully in time for the rain to stop.

We won't be there at 11. Dai got hungry and Dai turns into a right diva when he's hungry. So we are in a wetherspoons in Abergavenny.

Re: Pugfest 2015
Disappointed I couldn't make it, but hopefully next year things will be more settled for me & I may be able to bring the little man with me (who's a lot less little since most of you saw him when we went to Gaydon).
Eric's getting to be a dab hand at that hillclimb course now. That vid looks noticeably quicker than when I saw him do it in 2013. Have you been keeping track of the times over the years? If I've still got the Zafira next year I might have to give it a go for the craic.

Re: Pugfest 2015
2013 1st run, with rwb, 65 sec or thereabouts: run 2, with Dai, 62.9 sec.
2014 only run, with jonsowman & Bailes, 62.0
2015 1st run, 62.3 sec but scared myself witless when my wonderful* new Toyo CF2's decided I was going straight on at Pardon Hairpin.
(as rwb's video shows).
Thinking* maybe I imagined it, I had another go which was 65 sec+
In between these runs, my son on his first go did 61.16 in his 320D, despite getting it momentarily sideways in the esses.
It was a great day with great company and even the weather turned out sunny most of the time.
Hope you can make our next outing Stu, (which is yet to be planned).
Suggestions, People?

Unfortunately not.steve_earwig wrote: Umm, are there any more?

Had a loan of a GoPro, (which faithfully recorded my trip to Prescott), then the battery died about 10 minutes before my first run because some numpty* didn't realise you can't run it for hours without charging.

(Haven't seen any of it yet, but there might be some amusing Pug RCZ and BMW recordage).

The BMW run was... scary
Seriously quick car, though.
