Twas a bit draughty round the hangars.

Well, I'm back home safe & sound. Another top day out as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks to Rich for arranging, nice to see everyone again and of course to meet mick2701.
Pretty good turn out considering the weather forecast, we had:

Dai, in the Volvo
John & Sue in the ex-Rees HPI exec estate, (which looks really smart).
grasmere59's very smart remapped 110 exec estate, in red with chestnut leather
mick2701's very tidy silver 110 exec estate
rwb's new biturbo 2.2 HDi GT 407, (drool).
...and a certain embarrasingly grubby 2.2 HDI exec estate.

Museum's good and exceptional value - only criticism is it's so full of exhibits you can't always get a clear view / picture without something in the way. I would definitely recommend it - we spent up to 5 hours there without seeing absolutely everything. Can't believe you only have to pay to park.

So did it pass the mission critical arm-rest test?

Great day out chaps, thanks for coming. Great to finally meet Grasmere59 and mick2701. Just a shame I didn't get to have a closer look at your motors. And I still haven't had a good look round the Volvo

As Doggy says, it's amazing value for money -- and it still would be if they doubled the price. There's more than enough to keep you busy all day -- take wikipedia (other encyclopaediae are available) on your phone and it will keep you busy for weeks!

Should have got memory seats so that the mirrors turn down when you put it in reverse.

It's worth it just to leave the Germans standing from time to time
