I'll have PP with me.
Had it on a 407 HDi v6 coupe this morning:
Permanent fault. Rear cylinders turbo pressure solenoid valve. Control problem or mechanical problem. I think the basic problem is putting a Ford engine in a Peugeot
That's far too organised Doggy!
I think I'm down to baking a cake and an application of my interpretation of
washing to the car.
Cooking algorithm: if it's black on both sides then it'll be right.

Me, organised? Not a trait I'm noted for.
I'll have my PP2000 set up too, so whichever one of us survives a trip up the hill, will be only too happy to oblige, John.
Right, practice BBQ 20:30 hours, must fly......

Well, I've got burgers, sausages, rolls and a charged laptop with PP2000.
Does anyone want some spares for their 406 while I'm coming up?
Executive headlight washers, MAF, Air Filter box, Lights, Grill, Switches etc, all from a 110Hdi. I do have lots of spares now and this will save postage.
Thanks, see you there.

Add the grille to my stash, would you please, Kelv?
At this rate, we'll have more diagnostic setups than 406's

Miss Pug seems to have caught a little bug............
Possible starter motor or alternator (I presume alternator)
I may need help

I have some jump-leads stashed in the spare wheel well in the boot, with my towing bars.
Sorry Sonia but the donor cars rear belts are now on my car as my original ones were ridiculously short....

I don't think donor diesels alternator will fit a petrol but I'm sure someone on the forum will put me straight.
In the meantime - park on a hill........

Thanks Jasper!
Battery tested 13 volts, whacked the solar charger on today so I suspect it's the alternator..
When I put on my dipped beam last night the MFD dimmed somewhat - does anyone know if these cars have a setting where they dim the display when the lights are on OR if at night I dimmed the MFD display it remembered I had dimmed it and did it again?

Yes, it's meant to dim with the lights on.
Check the battery voltage with the engine running, should be 14 - 14.5 V

Ok I shall, so I wonder why she wasn't keen on starting yesterday evening then?
Weirdly my boyfriend called to say his clutch has snapped last night too, lol.

Burgers and sausages in the freezer bag, in the freezer. Rolls on the side, laptop charged, pug filled with diesel too.
Car washed but now dirty again
Spares in the boot for Doggy.
Will be at 1st meeting point around 6am, via a cash point.
Probably forgot something though...
