Slammed china blue 406 saloon

Post by Steviehendo » Wed Dec 09, 2015 9:01 pm

Awryt everyone, new on here.
So where to start,

23 year old mechanic from fife scotland, owned my 406 for 6 years, bought from my mother who still used the car often when i wasnt so didnt begin modifying until recently, she was the first owner, if i mind right the car cost something juat over 16,000, i bought it for 10 lamber & butler, at only 42,000miles wohoo great deal, unfrotunately the car rolled onto its side in a burn last year after i lwft the road on somewhat slippery leaves! But after some pulling with the landy she was out and drove home no problem, during the incident she managed to collide with a couple of trees, fortunately shes built good..., the only damaged panels were the lower mount for the radiator, straightened out no problem, tiny ding on sill and a ding on the rear quarter too, nothing that cant be fixed, so no worrys there, obviously the front bumper dead, it desintegrated upon impact, anyway on with how she os now
Lots of plans but as it stands so far

Suspension
Absolutely hooped, 100mm front 75 rear,

IGo faster items
Green cotton 306GTI6 induction kit,
HDI 110 intercooler and all pipework slightly changed to fit correctly,
Full stainless 2.5 straight through with perfprmance back box from turbo back,
Stage 2 remap, never dyno,d but meant to be 160 BHP, was enough to rip the arse out the standard clutch anyway,
Stage 2 drive torque clutch fitted,
EGR delete and cooler pipe removed, then thrown in the skip,
Dump valve with electronic actuator fitted,
Air dozer removed,

Brakes,
Standard other than rear drilled and grooved gold EBC discs,

Lighting,
Bmw E46 rear quarter lights,
LED's everywhere,
HID headlights,

Interior,
Complete black rapier cloth interior,
Pioneer, cd usb aux radio, headunit,
Vibe FLI sub, amp and speakers all round,
Some carbom wrapped interior parts,
Starburst air freshner :D,

Exterior,
Rapier, nimrod 16" alloys, soon to be replaced by the BORBET A's in my garage,
Genuine Peugeot wind deflectors,
Black sun strip,
Tinted tail lights,

I dont think ive missd anything but if i have ill post it later, i hope you all welcome me to the forum and ill post some pics of the car soon

Mainly because its too low to get the jack under, but also because the wheels arent bolted on i dont have the spacers yet, this was a trial to check if theyd fit in the arches

So a little about my cars history, as i said already its been in my family since new, and spent its life towing our caravan when it wasnt running back and forward the shops, she got on the ferry at rosyth and toured france towing the caravan with no problems atall and back again every year for 4 years, the furthest shes been since then was scarborough with the caravan, i morw often take a tent camping now as up north where we fish aint really suited to a big caravan so thinking on building a teardrop next year to tow
