Right now I'm drinking Abbot Ale. (Never normally during the week, but its the last week before Christmas.)
Coffee (beans and grinder) in the morning, and tea (leaves and pot) in the afternoon -- Darjeeling at the moment.
I've stopped drinking at home (except this week, obviously), as it got to the stage where I could finish a bottle of wine in a single sitting and then start on the whisky. There was also a big boozing culture in my previous job, and I'm trying to shift the consequential belly.
I think the original question was about beer: IPA (Greene King is not IPA) and other pale ales like Theakstones and Black Sheep.
Timothy Taylor's is nice, but is a bit flowery -- not a good 'session' beer.
I loved koelsch (and lots of gluhwein) when I was in Aachen, but can't stand the witch-piss that passes for larger in England.
G&T, nice with bitters.
Whisky -- love a peaty single malt.
Port -- tawny.
