Re: Engine management light

Look on YouTube for a set up guide - they are done in real time so you kind of know what to expect..
Getting experience is trial and error though, just take your time to go through the menus and options.

Re: Radio too loud (RD3 PU2473A)

The CD player has a built in amp, as the executive models with the boot amp JBL system were all cassette players...
I'm not sure what settings you need in PP2000 though, sorry.

Re: Engine management light

A laptop with PP2000 is cheaper than 2 visits to Peugeot for a diagnostic, plus you can use it on other people's cars once you've got experience with it...
It's a pain to set up, but I use mine quite often - it stays in the boot and I charge it up the day before a diagnostic session.

Re: Engine management light

Sadly, it's just a generic message saying that something is wrong.....
It could be almost anything, so a session with PP2000 will certainly help, otherwise it's expensive guessing.
Where are you based?

Re: Pp2000 AC unit

No.
Between the sunvisors is the interior light unit. Part of this has a grill on the left - pull this half downwards.

Re: Pp2000 AC unit

To get to the passenger compartment air sensor, you need to gently pull down on the part with the grill, then this will expose 2 screws which hold the fan in place..

Re: New 'stricter' MOTs...

Not sure that would work for my T4, as the MOT ran out 21st September...
It's booked in for Thursday, so I'll have all my appendages crossed that day - it took me nearly 20mins to start the bloody thing earlier ( I must invest in a trickle charger.... )
I'm glad your car passed the MOT Brett.

Re: Fuel (diesel) woes.

Without cam/crank synchronisation your car won't start - so best check these connections first, replacement parts are not too expensive and easy to replace. Maybe a failing crank or cam sensor is why your car broke down in the first place, as soon as the synchronisation is out then it's a no go. Get...

So does this mean this was the issue all along?
If so at least you now have a spare Comms unit :cheesy:

Re: Rear handbrake adjuster jammed full on (cant move Car)

I think it's possible to push the whole adjuster sideways towards the centre of the hub via the inspection hole.
I believe I may* have done this while blindly aiming for the adjustment cog.....

Re: New 'stricter' MOTs...

My T4 is due an MOT six weeks ago  and it smokes like a bugger.... I'm kind of looking for ways around the emission requirement as there is no way it's as clean as it was when it left the factory. I may accidentally leave some tape over the sticker in the engine bay, if indeed there is one the...

Re: N75 valve on 2.2 DW12 2.2 HDi engine

Hmm, okay - I'm starting to clutch at straws now.. If the vacuum system is okay ( not sure what a smoke test is and how this works ) and the swirl flap diaphragm is good, then it could be the pipes are the wrong way round. The swirl rod should pull back the little ball/socket affair on the top right...
