Ouch, I've got an e-class Merc that weighs about the same as a house (it's about 2.5 tonnes or something ridiculus) and even that will run 40mpg just ambling around town, 60 on a run!
Ahh! & I though your coupe was your daily, not another toy :cheesy:

Re: What year D8 up to ?

Hmmmm. You should be safe with a year 2000 bonnet, as I think anything newer than a T reg is D9 ( some T reg could be either ) however Monaco Blue is a D9 only colour :cheesy: Didn't know that mate, re Monaco blue  but I think the bonnet I've been offered is China blue So a respray is on the ...

What year D8 up to ?

I know it probably sounds like a daft question but my 02 406 needs a new bonnet  It's been getting worse for a couple of years, well with the amount of work I've put into the old girl I want to replace it. So how to identify a Mk1 bonnet to a Mkll, the one I've been offered is year 2000 ...

Re: OEM wheels for brembo V6

will I be able to upgrade to brembos? "upgrade" is not the correct word to use there... The soggy, squeally, expensive and difficult-to-maintain brembo brakes are by far the worst part of the v6 coupé. When I had mine I wished I'd upgraded to brakes from any other 406. mjb, Dare I say it but yours ...

Re: OEM wheels for brembo V6

Hi all I'm new to the forum, so will present myself in the appropriate thread. In the meantime, I'm wondering what OEM Peugeot wheels will clear brembo V6 brakes without the use of spacers? There is a set of 207 Hockenheim wheels (17 inch) I can have for little money, but would they f.i. fit? It wo...

Re: Haynes manual

Aye I'm the same, been trying to find a manual cause I like reading them lol.. Every 406 one I have seen does not support 2.0 hdi Diesel engines which mine is I'm at a loss You must have brought the wrong one then cause Haynes Manual no 3982 covers the whole lot Except the V6, 2.0 petrol turbo, 2.0...

To activate the a.b.s so you can get all the air out

I know this information is late but better late than never, hope it helps.
