Re: Remote locking ceased

Corrupted electrics, due to lack of power / standing :(
That's the very reason I decided to fit a new battery to my coupe with a battery conditioner connected :?

Worked for me, good luck with yours, you could try the bsi reset

Re: £450 2004 Estate S hdi 90. 90k miles. Mot Dec.

Why bother, 168k is nothing for one of these. Lot's of them have done north of 300k with no issues
At 90k it'll soon need all the same parts replacing that yours will probably have already had.

ie: cambelt / waterpump, aux belt / tensioner / crank shaft pulley, & at 168k I'm guessing the clutch.

Re: Motorcycling and getting a licence. Caution: 46 yr old man talking

Welly, I've had bikes all my life, my first was a 1970's Fantic caballero. Great fun at eight years old at the back of my house. I progressed through all manner of bikes including a Suzuki GT550 & a RM 380 before the age of sixteen :cheesy: When I got my first ped, after the first ride of 30mph rest...

Re: Having to slam estate tailgate

You could have just wound in the rubber stoppers on each corner of the tailgate, same effect just easier  Just like the ones on the bonnet, has your tailgate allways been difficult to shut ? or has it had some work at the rear end, wouldn't have left the factory like that & they get losser tho...

Re: Another MOT shake up

It's always been my understanding that the MOT proved that the car was road worthy on the day of the test :? If you were pulled over after this date & the old bill felt that your car was unroadworthy then you would be given A seven day rectification notice, you had to take your car to a MOT station ...

Apparently you don't have to remove the headlining, but I have no experience of this.
Tony Newman over on the Facebook page, says so.
Also a few estates being broken on there.

Re: Buzzing noise

It's easy to check the flap, pop out the pollen filter & whilst looking down the hole under the pollen filter aperture
Get a assistant to press the recirculate button you should see the flap open & close if all is well.
Obviously with the ignition on.
