Two on that list are camshaft sensor and air intake temp sensor...................are these easy to change?

p0341
p1353......................eeerrrrr, what are they?

So is mine Pete, just pull off the plastic trim running across the top of the tailgate opening (all the plastic clips immediately break) then pull the headlining down a bit n root around............simples!

A different radio problem

The aftermarket sony FM radio has bad reception especially when it rains, I suspect the original boosted ariel, so I checked the power to it..............9volts! I then cut the power wire and the radio reception hasn't been worsened............surely 9v can't be right? I'm thinking of buying a new b...

Great...............no idle valve brill, well done Ginge

Pump regulator replaced 2 years ago, throttle cable loose, footwell carpet is bone dry, no cruise control.

I'm thinking your clutch switch, engine coolant temp sensor, map sensor possibly

Ginge..............it's been a few days and so far the car has lost it's hesitation problem so many thanks to you and everyone that helped me...............BUT..................sadly I still have another fault which is intermittent stalling/dodgy idle when slowing down. I've just bought the lovely thing a TPS cos once in a while my throttle don't work at all, but I wonder how many other sensors I can throw out?............what about the MAP sensor?..............I've got meself all excited n want to have a big spring clean!!! if I had enough brains n courage I'd try...

Peter, you're obviously a much cleverer bloke than I...............but, I always think when buying secondhand bits you have only got a 1 in 4 chance; 1, it could be a cheap snide part 2, it could be a working but old part that dies 6 months down the line 3, Ya get lucky with a nice lovely part that'...

Ging...........looks like I'm saving me £80 then!! Jeez think about the poor old public out there buying MAF sensors like there's no tomorrow for no real reason!!!!

I don't really care what the ecu does just that it does it................I drive around west London, the speed limit varies between 20-40mph so I don't need a racing car!!...........if I drop a few mpg so what? cos I'll never recoup the £80 I've got to shell out to get a proper one....................

I've just unplugged mine to check whether the old one was funked, the car is now running better, so I think to myself 'why waste my money buying a replacement?'................tell me gang why I need the thing?

I spent 30 mins with a flat screwdriver, but the blade must have been too thick, I'm sure though that my sledgehammer is a perfect fit :twisted:
