Re: pp2000 maf sensor readings

I don't know what the readings should be,I use a different Diagnostic system and don't have any fault codes on, but I occasionally pull my MAF sensor out and give it a clean with solvent spray and airline, It doesn't do it any harm, Mine is on original MAF with 274000 miles on it.

Re: Worsening driving standards

Its not bad, A dream to drive and just enough room for 2 weeks away, That was a rather wide one from the ABI factory near Beverley UK, to just south of Calais, It was 4.76 metres wide, most of them I move are around 4 metres

Re: 2 different cars, 2 oil changes, both came up short

Max and Min on stick are just that. I always like to run mine a few mm below max. Many many years ago I was a powerboat mechanic, and due to different angles of engine installation or operating conditions we found that in severe cases with a very full sump the crank would splash in the oil, causing ...

Re: Another MOT shake up

Over here in French France, the CT (MOT) Rules are changing to a much tougher test from May 1st. I think it is inline with a EU Ruling. Not sure whats changing at moment.

My old 406 is in for its test tomorrow afternoon, Hope to get another 2 year ticket
