Re: pp2000 maf sensor readings

Here is the MAF readings from an ECU log recorded from my 406 during a drive. I did several hard runs from 1500rpm to 4500rpm, and plotted the results:

Re: Graphing Recorded Sessions in PP2000 - A Solution

I've rewritten this program in C++ for cross-platform capability and speed, are you able to compile it yourself?

Re: Satnavs or what?

Google Maps is superb, really. When I first started driving, I bought a basic TomTom. Was pretty decent, definitely got us places. Later on, when Google Maps got decent turn-by-turn navigation function built-in, it could do everything my basic TomTom could. Over the years since then, it's only got ...

Re: Satnavs or what?

If you have a decent modern smartphone, Waze is undoubtedly the way to go. Free, has live traffic information and will inform and re-route you round accidents and roadworks, speed camera alerts, etc. Give it a go, and you'll never use a standalone satnav again.

Re: 90 to 110

There's not only power to be gained from a map, the additional fuel economy and refinement brought from the broader, more usable torque curve brings the car to life. As much as the standard output map may suit you, I know you'd be much happier with it mapped. Not to mention the map will eventually p...

Re: 90 to 110

Easy conversion if its just the intercooler, you will need all the 110 pipework and the elbow on the intake manifold and away you go. To take advantage of the charge cooler, you will need a remap and you can make pretty much the same power as the 110. You will have to manually increase the boost on ...

New clutch required!

Evening all,

Finally killed my stock clutch with my higher torque map, and have bought a stage 2 kevlar replacement from Black Diamond. Where would I be best off buying a new LUK DMF (without clutch)? ECP have one listed for £360 which seems alright. Any better ideas?

Thanks all!

Re: Think I need a new Mass Air Flow Sensor

Please learn from my mistakes, I sent months hunting down my poor performance issue before, having replaced the MAF with two different cheap eBay parts with no success. Finally, I splashed out on a genuine MAF as a last hope and that fixed all my problems! The cheap eBay MAF's are sh*te and report i...

Re: Remap - is it still a feasible option.

No no I was referring to the stock peugeot map! Steve's are all fantastic! The dpf friendly one I reckon would suit your car. I have replaced a lot of the ancillaries on the engine as I plan on running the stage 1+ long term, I've done injectors, clutch and dmf, rad, intercooler and a few other bits...

Re: Remap - is it still a feasible option.

The 110 is a stronger unit than the 90 as it has a burnished crank, so is capable of running more torque. I have a stage 1 on mine at the moment with 145hp/320nm but Steve is going to do me a stage 1+ with 150hp/340nm as I've decatted it and fitted a Powerflow stainless exhaust for better flow and l...

Backplates - restored and powdercoated - MINT

Afternoon guys, I have a pair of rear backplates available for sale, they have been shot blasted and powder coated and are in immaculate condition. Unlike factory Pug ones, these have been properly protected and will last many years to come. http://i.imgur.com/Wfn6g2m.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Qqh4wpU....

Wind noise

Evening folks, One thing that's bugged me about my 406 since I got it is the wind noise above 75mph. It sounds like its coming from the drivers side mirror, or perhaps one of the gutter seals. Is this a known issue and are there any simple ways to resolve it (i.e. new clips etc)? This issue is not p...

Re: Oil level sensor

The oil level sensor is combined with the oil temperature sensor, and is located on the rear right hand side of the DW10 engine.

Hope that helps!

Ben.
