Re: ROLLING COAL

My old 406 was remapped by Srdan (IQ93 map) which gave nearly 180bhp and zero smoke... I don't think the 'more smoke, more poke' saying is correct anymore - maybe in the old days... I agree I think it more relates to the old mechanical pumps, and sometimes they needed all the help they could...

Re: ROLLING COAL

So why do all the pd130's round here all chuck out black smoke then if there's no point ??? For the record my 407 is on standard map, with dpf intact and working as it should, I'm just curious

Re: ROLLING COAL

So why do the engines in tractor pulling etc emit so much smoke if it doesn't produce maximum power ??

Re: ROLLING COAL

My understanding of it was that it was to achieve maximum output from the engine. Nowt to do with cyclists etc

Afternoon all,

Recently put my 406 on the road and was wondering if you can get them to roll coal? Its a 2.0 HDi 110.

TIA.

Re: D9 wanted

We found a China blue one local..... Very popular colour. Only realistic option is a remap, about 125 bhp achievable at reasonable cost. HDi Tuning have a good reputation from what I hear. We have the 110 available to strip with a mapped ECU is it possible to swap things around??? Even engin...
