Re: Refreshing Power Steering fluid

Has anyone noticed any difference after changing the fluid in any car? Last year there's a few leak in the low pressure hose and steering rack seal, so naturally after the repair it has to use new fluid. I noticed that steering is a bit lighter to turn when driving. It's also particularly very noti...

Re: Service Box Missing Older Models

I just found this website which should be a decent alternative to Service Box to view parts diagram. I haven't check how complete their diagram is. The user interface is not as good, but I can find my way around after few minutes of using it. https://partsouq.com https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...

Re: The wonky £1K citron Citroën

Although haven't personally replaced any crankshaft sensor myself, but from seeing various Peugeot videos I'm pretty sure that the sensor is number 3 at the picture above

Edit: didn't see that Doggy has mentioned that, I only see the red circle

Re: None smoking kit

Wow I didn't know this kit exists, it looks really cool. I have to echo the previous question, where can I found one in this day and age? :(

Is Service Box now a paid service only? I tried using the technical documentation page but instead of showing schematics and part numbers, it shows as above. It happens on both my Indonesia and Australia account.

Re: Clock keeps resetting (and engine stalling)

Just to give an update: I haven't go to the dealer, but since the problem has not been happening for a while, I guess I would leave it as is for now

Re: Engine cutting out

Maybe other member can diagnose more accurately, but I would take a wild guess that it's from the vehicle speed sensor. Recently I saw a video from local mechanic where a 206 engine would quit when they are slowing down and pressing the clutch, replacing the speed sensor apparently solves that issues.

Re: 406 fuel consumption

I drive through lots of traffic jam so usually I can get about 16 litre / 100 km (or around 6km/litre). On the highway if I drive economically, it could get up to 5 litre / 100 km (or 20km/litre). But in any case, I always drive with air conditioning. Regarding your RPM indicates 10 before the engin...

Clock keeps resetting (and engine stalling)

I know many of you use (or had used) diesel 406 instead of petrol, but figured I'll ask here anyway before going to the dealer. And also not quite sure whether to put this in engine section or electrical section. Today my 406 has ask me to set the time (both clock and date are flashing). When that h...

Re: wiper fuse keeps blowing

So it means that let's say I hate the auto wiper and would rather have intermittent speed, I could just remove the relay?

Re: Service Box Missing Older Models

I'm glad you've got it sorted but does this mean there's no point in going to the dealers where you are for spares? Wow, that'd be pretty harsh  Well, last time I went to dealer most of the cars being serviced are 407, 307 (both of which not on the list) and 207. So I don't think they would ...

Re: Service Box Missing Older Models

Clearing cookies and search by VIN doesn't work. But I tried to create a new account using VPN to Australia and it works. So I guess they deliberately only shows current model for account based in Indonesia(?) Anyway, thanks everyone. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49369934396_5f93b29131_z_d.jpg

Re: Service Box Missing Older Models

FWIW I get the same result as Steve Your image looks very similar but as you say doesn't have all the models. Wonder if it's because yours is a 'new' account? I don't think it's a new account since I have been using it from about last year with no problem up until now. What about the spare parts ca...

Service Box Missing Older Models

Hi, a long time lurker here, just registered because I didn't saw anybody posted about this. Today when I open Service Box (public.servicebox.peugeot.com) it's missing technical documentations for older models (including 406) and only lists newer x08 and x008 model (also 107, 207, RCZ). Is anyone el...
