Motorised boot

I saw section Motorised boot (is similar) in Service Box. Is there such thing for 406 Estate or it is common section for Service Box and exists for other models (e.g. 607 - I know it has automatic boot).

Re: Display light doesn't turn off

Sometimes the back light of my display is not turned off when I remove the key quickly. The display messages are off but back light is on. I have seen this 5-6 times in last 2 years. I guess the computer (BSI or similar) does not detect the key removal when it is too fast. My 406 is estate (2004). R...

Wheel nut caps

Hi. I want to buy original wheel nut caps. The OEM code is 5408.13. I am not sure whether they are sold in packet of 2-5 pcs. I found a price about 2.30 EUR which is too strange for single item.

Re: Recommend good key fob replacement

Original keys are available but the price is too high. They do not sell only the plastic part but complete key with transmitter.

Recommend good key fob replacement

Hello. I am looking for key fob replacement with good quality. Already bought 3 different from Aliexpress and eBay but all of them are not good enough. The main problem is that buttons has no rubber, everything is only plastic. When you push the button, it is very stiff and the whole plastic side is...

Re: Front door closing sound

OK. But what can be the reason for the clang? Maybe there is procedure for correct adjustment of doors. Is it possible that strap hinge stopper is the reason? Now it is missing on driver's door until I mount a new one, but I think the door sound was the same when this hinge stopper was ok.

Re: Front door closing sound

Rattle? Something loose inside? No, nothing inside. English is not my native language and not sure what word to use. The door's sound is like old car without good seals - not like hit between 2 metal parts but maybe metal to wood or metal to plastic without rubber between them. Below is the state o...

Front door closing sound

My driver's door is rattling when closing - the other doors are closing with normal deaden sound. In addition, often the door is not fully closed from first time - I have to open and shut it again. I am not sure whether this depends on seal rubber or need adjustment of hinges. The straight seal at b...

PP2000

I know there is software Planet 2000 with diagnostics and configuration of 406. It is used for example to enable day lights, activate tempomat, etc. I have not seen all its menus and options. I am interested whether there are options like: sound signal when switch to Automatic window wipe, sound on ...

Add comfort module

Is it possible to add comfort module to close windows after remote lock? The car is latest facelift (2004). I heard that it is part of BSI and when not installed originally, it is impossible to add it later. Is this true?

Truthfully I've only replaced the seat base part, not the seat back/bolster part - sorry.
Is it possible to divide the base from the back part?

Re: Replace driver's seat

Sorry, I meant drivers steering wheel airbag - the seats are all the same connector for both the drivers and passengers seat :?: OK, thanks. How bad is the seat? Its possible to change only the foam part of the seat base, so you keep the LHD seat levers and runners, but the foam from the RHD on top...
