It was a dome shaped washer with the prongs on the outside to hold the water in fuel sensor in place, anyway i couldnt get one so rather than buy a new sensor with clip and seal etc or a whole filter housing ive bodged it and glued it no leaks so far fingers crossed

Starclip washer

Hi guys n gals my fuel filter water sensor was leaking so i thought i'd better change the seal, as i prised off the starclip washer it went ping an flew across the road lost forever does anybody know where i can get one from, pug stealers only sell complete sensor for £37, hav'nt had any luck online...

Wanted long crankcase breather hose

Hi all iv'e got p reg 2.1 td as title i'm after the long hose that goes from sump to inlet manifold it's held in place in the middle with a clamp that's bolted to block, i know it's a long shot but at pug dealers they're on back order could be two weeks, cheers mdears

Would you believe it the fuse had blown possibly two, no 25 had defo gone were'nt sure about no 19 but i changed it anyway, then the green light on the immobilser came back on and she fired up happy days, according to the manual those fuses control interior lights and doesnt mention the immobiliser

Yeh it does feel like immobiliser problem, Ive also got a leak in rear door makin carpet wet an cant fix it doh so thats not helping, ps its -1• an snow today cheers mdears

Well i made sure everything was clean ah well i'll see how it goes, it's probably about time i changed filter, i took off the ariel today to seal it cos water has been leaking in and fogging up screen and now the car wont start i may have blown a fuse when taking out light but surely that would'nt s...

Hi guys just letting you know the clutch is fixed i had to get new hydraulic master/slave set up which was luk one £130 off fleabay, i cud hav put 2nd hand one in for £43 but how long would that have lasted, now i'm back on the road i have noticed a judder on take up i dont think its the clutch beca...

I saw a thread which some models have same slave and another model has same master but you need different pedal cluster, i already took the reservoir lid off bit wary cos of the warnings not to and it came off very easily its made of soft rubber i was armed with big screwdriver and prybar but didnt ...

I should have mentioned it's a 96 2.1td i think iv'e seen a thread stating which other cars have the same system but iv'e forgotten i'll have another search if that would help cheers

Hydraulic clutch set up

Hi guys i'm after the hydraulic clutch sealed set up that includes the master and slave cylinders and reservoir, i changed the clutch recently due to release bearing giving up the ghost and jamming itself onto the input shaft but the pedal still goes to the floor and no way of bleeding the bleeding ...

Thats how the old one was and from when it was changed there was play when on off throttle so this time i,m going to try it horizotally like your poor mans stiffened mount and see what happens unless anyone else would advise against it cheers
